Grateful for girls weekends

With hubby away for a boy's long weekend, Amelie and I are enjoying a girl's weekend.

It is the perfect kind of weekend to stay in pjs and read a book.

We might get dressed tomorrow and go to the movies to watch The Muppets or we may just stay in our pjs and read some more.

Either way I'm grateful for our girl's weekend.

What are you grateful for?

  1. That's a very sweet picture - those little ikea stools make a great bedside table!

Sounds like you are having a lovely girl's weekend.

  2. How lovely to have a girls' weekend. It's tricky at my place as there are three boys plus my little girl. We did have one before Christmas when she and I went away for a night down the coast. It was lovely, girly chatter in cafes, lots of drawing... and no fighting!

  3. Love it Kate, absolutely love it! We had a day indoors today too, weather was terrible here. Your girly weekend sounds delightful. I've heard The Muppets is fantastic, enjoy if you do end up going :o) xo

  6. I love having 'girls' time with my daughter. Its hard to get it given her brother is only 14mths older than her and wants to be included, but we managed to get away on Saturday and do a girls shopping trip while the boys stayed at home and played in the garden. Just perfect! We do swaps sometimes though and I'll have Mummy-son time while the others have Daddy-daughter time too. :)
