Despite my 2nd sister, her kids and my mum being unable to join us as originally planned, we were still determined to enjoy ourselves.
On Melbourne Cup Day we frocked up and ventured out of the city to the Yarra Valley Races. What fun!

On Stakes Day we ventured back to Flemington to cheer on Black Cavier.
After all the good food, champagne and sun I'm now ready to take it easy and detox for a while.
